Danielle
was a Musical Theatre major in college, receiving a four
year full-ride scholarship at the University of Arizona
in Tucson, though she chose not to finish her stay there.
During that time, she was in many plays and musicals in
the University of Arizona's Theatrical department, as well
as other local theatres.
Danielle
then attended Eastern Montana College, now sanctioned as
Montana State University, Billings, where she also
received a full ride scholarship for Theatre, and studied
playwrighting.
Danielle
decided that she made a much better performer than a student.
She moved to Seattle in 1991 where she co-founded the Urban
Guerilla Street Theatre Collective, with Dan Glenn.
Danielle wrote and acted in several pieces we performed,
including a political piece taken to San Francisco called
"Duel in the Sandbox" that made a statement against
Operation Desert Storm. Late in 1991, Danielle was scouted
by Whatever Wreckards in Seattle, and took a long hiatus
from acting as she was offered a recording contract.
These
are just a few plays from the many Danielle has performed
that are her personal favorites:
